The Carson chip fits into the C8515 compartment on DPR (Digital Plug Ready) Scalextric and Pioneer models allowing you to run the car on a Carrera Digital 132 track system.
The decoder is very easy to install.

NOTE:
* Safetycara"c or Pacecara"c feature is not integrated.
* The use of the fuel tank function is only possible with the Control Unit 30352 and the Pit Lane 30356.
* The lights will turn on when driving. If you want the brake and parking light function to work, the two enclosed cables are to be soldered to the lighting cables.
* If there is a malfunction of the Control Unit while using the slot car after conversion (it will beep) this is probably due to an installed suppression capacitor (ferrite) of more than 50 nanofarads by the slot car manufacturer at the braid contacts of the slot car. The ferrite has to be removed in this case. This has found to be the case in some older (circa 2015) cars.
