The Start Gantry is a highly detailed model which is designed to be placed across the track at the start / finish line. It can also be used as a generic advertising or lighting gantry anywhere on your track.
Several options are provided in the kit for banner and placement of lettering. Also provided is a banner which allows you to fit 5mm LED lights (LED lights not supplied) so you can control your race starts in a realistic manner.
The gantry is quite strong and stable and is easily constructed, but it is recommended you protect the bases from high speed crashes using armco or other barriers.
This gantry is easy to modify; if you want it lower you can cut height off the uprights with some simple wire cutters or a sharp scalpel knife, just be careful and take your time.

This kit requires assembly. Whilst the assembled product does not require glue we recommend adding a little wood glue at the contact points to strengthen the finished product.Painting the finished product is optional.
On the product box you will be supplied with a password which will allow you to access the online comprehensive instructions and includes high detail colour photos.
