HISTORY:
An icon of Le Mans the Ford GT40 was integral to the Ford VS Ferrari wars of the 1960s and even today the Ford GT40 remains a staple of historic racing.
A major star of events such as Goodwood as well, in this case, races across the USA such as the Monterey Historic the car is still a real spectacle to see both on track and on the Scalextric track. This GT40 looks resplendent in its red paintwork, almost mimicking the Ferraris which it helped to defeat in the 1960s.
