This model is part of the Sideways Limited Edition "Historic Colours" range. The livery on this model is Gulf Oil. The signature light blue and orange colour scheme famously sponsored the John Wyer Automotive team in the 1960's and early 70's and Team McLaren during the Bruce McLaren days. The livery was made more famous in the 1971 film Le Mans where Steve McQueen playing Michael Delaney drives for the Gulf team.
