POLICAR CAR05A - Ferrari 312 B2 - winner Zandvoort 1971 #2

Repair kit will be supplied to cover the following issues advised by Policar:
Kit consists of
a ) a 51mm axle
b ) a new, rear exhaust assembly to replace the existing one on the cars.

Update from Policar:
1) the front axle, rather than the 51mm long unit specified by us, is 48mm instead.
This may cause the car to lose a front wheel in the box, but it has to be said, that the car can operate with a 48mm axle as well.
2) the body of some models (not all) are not properly assembled. In particular, the rear suspension group and/or spoiler may be bent. Please note Armchair Racer has reduced the price of our stock to cover this. We do not believe you will find a lower price worldwide.
3) during manufacturing and after we checked the production items, the company had to rework all the models to replace the motor mount which was injected with a wrong configuration unsuitable for this car. Rather than injecting the rear exhausts parts again, they removed the old exhausts parts, kept them aside, and recycled them on the freshly injected motor mounts. Evidently this added layers of glue to layers of glue and the rear exhaust part now protrudes from the bottom of the chassis. In some cars it is very noticeable, in some other less. This reduces clearance between chassis and track, and especially on the bumpy Ninco track, with its raised rail, can lead to a car that may be malfunctioning.

The Ferrari 312 B2 is arguably one of the most beautiful F1 cars ever. Such a model deserves to be done with proper accuracy.
Time went by faster than we thought, but eventually, we're finally able to deliver our first Ferrari F1 model, the beautiful 312 B2. We have designed different noses, spoilers, rear wings , suspensions and many more details in order to match the different shapes that the car was raced with.
Our reproduction of the cars of 1971 comes with standard front wings, shock absorbers mounted right under the rear wing, and period correct motor cover. The faired front wings were only used once at the Britsh GP and will be the subject of a later model.
Changes for the 1972 model include the recognizable big rear wing, shock absorbers placed in a more usual position, different suspension leverage attachment to the chassis, and the wide front nose that was used only in South Africa on all cars.
We have also designed a new set of 13" wheels and tyres that will be used where necessary for all Policar models.
All models are built around the state of the art, unsurpassed Policar motor mount and drive train.
