Jean Rondeau entered two official cars in 1980. The car #16 is driven by Jean Rondeau himself and Jean-Pierre Jaussaud. It is the ex chassis ITT of 1979.
The race is epic and Rondeau car #16 ends in front of the Porsche of J.Ickx and R.Joest with the rear hood of Rondeau car #15 in ITT colors, that had retired shortly before 11 pm.
