QUANTITY: 1 x small Universal Slot.it Digital Chip for use on the Scalextric Sport Digital System
The SP15D chip will only run on Scalextric Digital - not in analogue mode.
Use SP15C1 (issued from April 2026) will run in dual mode and should be purchased if you require the model to also run in analogue mode.
* Small (25x15 mm) in-car chip for Scalextric Sport Digital System
* Comes with standard Slot.it connectors for most Slot.it models released from April 2020 and Scalextric/Pioneer models fitted Scalextric SSD socket
* External infrared LED on wires may be used (available separately). Please note this is required for some models for example F1 chassis etc.
Hobbyist skills are required to install the chip without the connectors, possibly including soldering.
Slot.it also offer a Bay Lid for DPR models - code O201C-S04
For other cars hobbyist skills are required to install the chip without the connectors, including soldering.
The cable with connectors is available separately (part SP45) for cars without the connectors.
Note: If car has inverted polarity (car runs the wrong way), use inverter cable (CODE: SP46), inserted between chip and motor.
