This will operation in an SSD system and analogue system.
The SP15C1 (released April 2026) is a redesign of the SP15C chip (released December 2021) that improves the circuit layout by moving the LED forward in order to work reliably with some ARC PRO systems as well. Other than that, it is exactly the same as the original SP15C. This means that even if the track connections are not optimal, it will behave just like the SP15C and operate reliably.
The SP15C1 does not offer any possibility of reprogramming.
This chip is supplied with connectors. Most Slot.it and Policar models released from late April 2020 have connectors making the installation of this chip very easy.
If the model you are installing this chip into does not have connectors they will need to be removed from the cables or purchase the part SP45.
If the location of the sensor is inconvenient for your installation, you may connect an optional external infrared LED on the wires (part SP32).
The SP15C1 will not work in conjunction with the O201C-S04 Bay Lid.
Hobbyist skills are required to install the chip without the connectors, possibly including soldering.
