There are 3 x 8 lane tracks in our centre. They are:

1. 100 foot routered flat board timber track (known as the 'Big' track)
2. 70 foot routered flat board timber track (known as the 'Small' track)
3. 55 foot Ninco modular plastic track (known as the 'Events room' track). This track is the same that you can purchase through our centre as a ready to run home system.

Please note for casual hire you can run your own car on any of our tracks. If you wish to hire a car the only track available is the small track.

The Events room track is usually fully booked for functions each weekend.

Casual hire rates are:

With our cars including our hand controllers
½ hour $9.00 per lane

With your own car and using our hand controllers
½ hour $6.00 per lane

Should you have your own hand controller (postive wired commercial plugged) $1.00 per ½ hour will be deducted.

You can usually just turn up and there will be lanes available. On weekends and evenings you may like to ring through before hiring individual lanes to ensure there are no whole track bookings when you wish to race. Bookings for individual lane hire are accepted up to one week in advance.

If you are not a racer you can either marshall ie. put cars back on the track or we do have chairs and magazines so that you can relax. Monday through to Friday there are plenty of local take away food stores. On weekends drinks are available.

Just a little history note on the move in 2005 of the 6 lane Ninco track (picture above) from Lane Cove to Dickson Ave, Artarmon you may like to read.
The track was built in 1998. During the move in May 2005 the track was first used as a bench whilst packing stock and then as a work bench whilst the Lane Cove store internal walls were demolished around it. Once there was room to move it, the track pieces were removed and the timber frame cut in half. Due to the length and weight of the frames 5 removalists moved the frames to Artarmon. The 2 pieces were then re-attached, all the wiring re-connected and the track replaced. The re-building was completed in 3 days. We were amazed at how well the track endured the "misuse" received during the move. Only 15 minutes after the final pieces were laid and the cars were tested, the track held a 1 hour group booking.
For the next 5 years this track was used heavily and the track was retired when we moved to Hotham Parade in August 2010. The track now has a new home with a Sydney family.
The reason we mention the above is that the Ninco track is the same Ninco track that you purchase in the sets through us. Whilst we do not recommend you use it as a work bench or treat it as we did, the above shows how well built this product is.
