TUESDAY NIGHT RACING
Every 2nd Tuesday
Racing will
commence at 7.00pm sharp. You must register prior to 6.45pm as names will be entered into the computer at this time. Unfortunately names cannot be added once the data entry is complete.
The centre will remain open from 5.00pm
to 6.30pm for practice racing and any shop sales that you may require.
Entry fee for the night is $5.00 without dinner or $13.00 with dinner (pizza).
Drinks must be purchased on the night.

2010 RACING CLASSES (4 IN TOTAL)
All cars must be available to be scrutinisered prior to racing to see if they conform to the class rules.
No Drift cars may be used even if conversion screws are in place.
In 2010 no host class will be run on Tuesday nights.
Instead we will be running a number of Endurance races on Saturday evenings through-out the year. Dates and details will be provided closer to those dates.
CLASS 1

SLOT.IT -NON MAGNET Class will now allow the following:
* Any Slot.it model car with full interiors as sold (no lexan interior)
* Slot.it motor configuration - Angle winder/ Side winder / Inline
* Slot.it motor - Any Slot.it motor

Any Slot.it tyre - tyres may be trued - Slot.it logo must be visable from the outside
Allow weight to be added. The maximum total car weight including any magnet down force from the motor = 100 grams. All cars must be weighed prior to race.
At the completition of the race the top 3 cars will be re-weighed to ensure that they do not exceed the 100 gram maximum weight limit.
If a car exceeds the weight limit of 100 grams that car will be disqualified.
Racing will be held at 12 vdc. A speed check at this voltage to determine eligibility for the class.

when enough models are available, so in the mean time the 1:24 shall continue.

The 2 out board central magnets have to be removed.
Racing will be held at 20 vdc. A speed check at this voltage to determine eligibility for the class.

· Cars must have run in the 500 mile or 1000km race at Bathurst . Cars that ran in the TOCA 2 litter class at Bathurst will be allowed .
· Any brand of car may be used , as long as it has a race car livery
· Cars must be as sold out of the box, no alteration to height ,wheels , drive train , gearing , motor ,etc: except for tyres paint work and decals.
· Any brand of tyre my be used .
· No additional magnets, magnet must remain in the original manufacture location . If the magnet is adjustable you may adjust it .
· Total weight and mag down force my not exceed 285 grams . Cars will be scrutineered prier to race .
· All wings must be attached prier to start of each heat .
· Voltage will be set at 14.5
· List of approved cars : ( this list may be added to if you can show that your car raced at Bathurst ) .

Maintenance
workshop
Date: Not scheduled at this time
No cost.
Bookings essential as there are limited places.
This workshop is ideal for those who would like to learn how to
correctly maintain your slot car and get a little more out of their car. This event is suitable for both
those new to the hobby and those wanting to get a little more
out of their slot car.
This workshop is aimed at
anyone aged 8 years and up. Adults are most welcome to come
to this event.
Participants must bring their own car/s along with screwdrivers,
pliers and oil.
Father/Son
(or any other adult/child combination) Race

Cost: $20 per couple - a light dinner will be served

Child must be 17 years or younger and the adult must be at least
15 years older than the child.
Any standard Scalextric car may be used - no modifications allowed.
You may bring 2 cars and if the first car cannot finish the race
the second car may be substituted. Please note cars must be presented
at least 15 minutes prior to the race start for scrutinising.
