This is the heavy duty adjustable power supplies. I have been running our 6 lane track with the same power supply for almost 10 years. It has not missed a beat in all that time.
 

Uses a rugged 50 Amp bridge rectifier and a trifilar-wound transformer. We've also provided extensive overload protection through dissipation-limiting circuitry for the pass transistors, a 30 Amp instantaneous current limit, quality AC mains circuit breaker, a transformer thermal fuse and fused auxiliary secondary winding. It also has front panel metering, plus high-current banana-style and low-current output connections for extra flexibility. An Internal heat sink and thermally-switched fan provides cooling without protrusions in the metal case (which measures 320 x 150 x 145mm).

*  Duty cycle : 100% for all rated output voltages and respective output currents.

*  Load regulation : typically less than 100mV drop between 0 and 20A loads at 13.8V or 15V output. Less than 130mV drop between 0 and 25A loads at 15V output.

Now that you have upgraded your power supply, you should also upgrade your power console. This power console is capable of handling 15amps.

2 LANE HEAVY DUTY POWER CONSOLE PANEL WIRED FOR BRAKES

When you upgrade your power supply, your power console will also need upgrading. The standard (Scalextric or Ninco) power console is not designed to handle higher (More Power) current.

This Heavy duty console is pre wired to give you dynamic engine braking. and is a direct replacement for Ninco, Scalextric, SCX and Carrera.

This console is not suitable for electronic hand controllers.
