At the 1974 24 hour Le Mans, French drivers Henri Greder and Marie-Claude Charmasson drove this L-88 which was powered by a Chevrolet 7.0L V8. 253 laps were completed. At mid race the Corvette was in 27th position overall and finished 10th in the GT.
The car was sold in the US in 1975 and later came back to France where it is entered from time to time in historic events. It still has the dark blue paint job and #51. In recent times Henri Greder has had the opportunity to drive this old racer on several occasions in "Le Mans Classic" and "Tour Auto Historique".
