Very limited quantities!  This is the 1965 Indy winner as it appeared at it's rollout prior to adding numbers and sponsor decals. Ostorero made this ready-to-run slot car in a very limited run of only 200, making it highly collectible. Shown in the pictures is #122 which you can see on the chassis.

In March 1965 Team Lotus presented to the press the new type Lotus 38 which debuted in the May 1965 Indianapolis 500.

This model is of the extraordinary 1965 to 1967 Lotus type 38 indianapolis car. All were powered by Ford 4-cam 4.2-liter engines and they were in a position of winning the race at least twice. . These models are just plain extraordinary in their beauty and precision. They are not only shelf queens but run extremely well too.

The rear axle is offset to one side. This is a deliberate design feature of the Lotus 38 as this car was designed to run on the famus Indianapolis Oval circuit
