We have a dedicated 'Events' room at Hotham Parade. The room includes the following facilities:
* new 8 lane Ninco track,
* inside seated area for food consumption and birthday celebrations,
* basic decorations are set up including balloons, checkered bunting and streamers. The colours are red, black and white should you wish to use this colour theme for your table setting.
* private kitchenette with fridge, kettle and microwave convection oven,
* private bathroom facilities,
* private balcony with lovely leafy outlook.

Up to 16 racers may be invited to a party booking. Those not racing will marshal ie: putting cars back on the track.

The minimum age for birthday parties is 5 years.

Included in your cost is a dedicated host during the time your group is on the track. Your host will instruct your group and run various races during your booking.

We require at least 2 adults be present at the party and we require that one adult assist the host at the trackside when there are more than 8 racers invited to the party.

There are set times for parties in the Events room.

2 hour party from 10.15am - 12.15pm	$240.00
1½ hour party from 12.30pm - 2.00pm	$170.00
2 hour party from 2.15pm to 4.15pm	$250.00
Sunday:
1½ hour party from 10.45am - 12.15pm	$190.00
1½ hour party from 12.30pm - 2.00pm	$190.00
2 hour party from 2.15pm to 4.15pm	$270.00
Thursday after school or Weekdays Time to suit.
1½ hour party	$170.00
2 hour party	$250.00

We do not accept party bookings on Public Holidays.

The format for parties, on Saturday and Sunday, is as follows:
1½ hour party - first 30 minutes instruction and practice races, then we break for 25 minutes for food and birthday celebrations; then we finish with 30 minutes of formal slot car races.
2 hour party - first 45 minutes instruction and practice races, then we break for 25 minutes for food and birthday celebrations; then we finish with 45 minutes of formal slot car races.
As each group is different your host may alter the format to suit the ages and feedback from the group.

Please note there is a staircase to access the Events room.

As we do not provide food you are welcome to bring your own or have it delivered. You may bring your food prior to your function and have us store it in the fridge. Please also bring any cooking/serving utensils you will require.

We recommend plenty of drinks and/or watery type fruit ie. watermelon; grapes etc due to the usual "overuse" of vocal chords.
Chilled cans of soft drinks and water are available for sale.
Please note that alcohol may not be consumed on our premises.

As we have limited garbage facilities we would ask that you take with you any rubbish generated by your group.

Party bags are also available. These hand packed bags include a variety of chocolates and lollies from leading manufacturers. The Party bags must be ordered at least one week prior to your function and are available for $3.00 each.

Some groups have some great idea's. We list them as they may be of interest to you:
- rather than give each child a party bag at the end of the party, give each child a T-Shirt or baseball cap with a car theme at the start of the party. We have had guests who simply purchased T-Shirts and then printed the design themselves on transfer paper purchased from a computer shop and ironed the design onto the T-Shirt. One of our favourites was the party where all the boys (and Dad's) wore a red Ferrari T-Shirt.
- suggest that each guest pool what they would have spent on a gift and purchase a slot car set for the birthday child to take home.

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your booking.

We strongly suggest you book early to avoid dissappointment.
