The NEW Scalextric SPORT track system is the newest track system on the market which is also wired to incorporate dynamic braking.
Since 2000 Scalextric slot car sets utilise the new "Sport Track System" (review). The size of SPORT track components are the same as the Scalextric Classic (& SCX) track format, however, there are some interesting new track components. SPORT Track system improvements are deeper slot, easy connection system, smooth flush rails, just to mention a few. See review above for more details.
All Scalextric set are supplied complete with 1:32 scale model cars, hand controllers and a 16 Volt AC power pack for plug and go racing.
Scalextric offer you a choice of 7 complete ready to run Slot car sets ranging in 4 track layouts, starting with the X1 layout of 3.92m running length up to Scalextric largest X4 layout of 9.3m running length.
Any brand 1:32 scale slot car will run on the Scalextric Sport Track system.
All the sets listed below are just your starting point as you can add to these sets to make any track design that you may want.
These Scalextric slot car sets may be converted to SPORT DIGITAL(SSD) by incorperating the new DIGITAL IGNITION RACE READY SET C1186.
Please note that Scalextric adaptors (C8222 $6.00 a pair) are available to connect the new Scalextric SPORT track system with the Scalextric Classic or SCX track system.
