The launch of the Digital range has marked a new age for Scalextric with Multi-Car Racing and Lane Changing.
Get ready for an altogether new Scalextric experience and some great action-packed racing. Using the latest advanced digital technology, up to four cars can now race at any one time. The cars can change lanes, overtake and perform pit stops, making races even closer than ever. Scalextric Digital gives fans a wide range of choice with a series of sets, stunning digital models and accessories.
The Digital range gives fans a more exhilarating and life-like racing experience. Up to four cars can now move into the inner or outer lanes at the touch of a button on the hand throttles to take them past their track rivals. Just like the real thing, cars can now use blocking tactics to slow other cars down by switching lanes. A new brake button on the top of the hand throttle gives the added advantage at the start line and superior control around corners.
The ‘Race Ready’ sets mean that you can simply plug in, play and get involved in all the great racing action that Scalextric Digital has to offer. If you want to create your own bespoke track you can buy a variety of additional track pieces to make your circuit as varied and as challenging as possible. Scalextric offers additional lane changing tracks for straights and bends and even pit lane tracks to create a more realistic type of circuit.
The Digital range also offers a wide choice of authentic looking digital cars including F1, Rally, GT and Road cars. And for fans wanting to convert their existing analogue models to digital, Scalextric offers two types of digital conversion chips; for single seater and saloon cars.
Further accessories such as the Digital Lap Counter makes sure there’s no confusion over the result! Scalextric Digital is designed to give fans a truly life-like racing experience where tactics and strategy are vital for success.
