Armchair Racer, Slot Cars, Scalextric, Ninco, Fly, Carrera

Made in Italy, the philosophy of Racer is to produce a real collectors item for the slot car world. The bodies are made from resin allowing the reproduction of the smallest differences between each car such as winglets or small air intakes. The bodies are professionally painted using the same varnish as used on 1:1 cars and the decals are hand applied. The bodies are finished with a high quality clear cover in order to protect the livery from damage and this also gives the bright aspect as seen on the models. The models are hand assembled using photo etched parts.
Other details such as glueing the glass onto the body and highly detailed interiors with full length drivers give a further realistic look to the models.
The aluminium rims and tyres are produced following the drawings made up by Racer.
Whilst not all Racer models are ever placed on a track, to ensure the highest quality level Racer cars are fitted with Slot.it technical parts including engine, gears and motor mount.
Racer does produce most models in kit form and ready to race form, however, as the kit forms do require a high level of skill to assemble we supply and list the ready to run models. Pricing is available for the kits if required and may be ordered.
As we do hold the entire range in our store those stating 'Order Now' usually take between 2 to 6 weeks to be received. When ordered we will advise you the lead time.
