Carrera GO is an ideal starter set for the younger child or young at heart. Track and cars are in 1:43 scale, however, the cars can also be run on Carrera's 1:24 track.
As the cars have stonger magnatraction than 1:32 or 1:24 scale cars they require less skill to control them on the track.
